RD x Ya Kun Kaya Toast: Run For Clean Water

Do good with us this June as we join hands together with @YaKunKayaToastSG to raise funds to improve the sanitation and hygiene facilities of schools for 12,834 underprivileged children in Ho Chi Minh City!

Let’s rally together as a community to raise funds and run a cumulative distance of 1,888km from 8 June to 8 July 2024, 2359hrs. The awesome people from Ya Kun Kaya Toast Singapore will be donating $800 towards the VietWASH project if we hit the distance!

What's more, participate in our run sessions on 8 June and 15 June at Ya Kun Kaya Toast @ Far East Square to clock your miles and enjoy a complimentary Kaya Butter Toast + Kopi / Teh courtesy of Ya Kun Kaya Toast after the run! More details below.

Even if you can’t run with us, you can still make a difference with us by pledging a small donation to the VietWASH project. Every dollar counts..

In collaboration with World Vision International and Ya Kun International Pte Ltd, every dollar donated will give 12,843 children a sustainable supply of clean water and improved sanitation facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Donation proceeds will go to:

• ⁠Setting up handwashing facilities in schools in need to reduce infectious diseases
• ⁠Upgrade wastewater system for hygienic environment
• ⁠Educate children, teachers, communities on environment & personal hygiene

• The event is supported through the use of Strava. Runners with a GPS watch such as Garmin, Apple Watch, Fit Bit or Polar can sync their activities to our website
• You can also download the Strava App to use their record function to participate
