Running Department is excited to partner Great Eastern for a series of community runs that celebrate movement, wellness and the joy of running together.

To kick things off, we are inviting runners to join us for an inaugural run on 22 March at The Kallang, as part of Great Eastern’s Great Family Play Day and a special launch announcement.

As part of the celebrations, Running Department will be leading a relaxed community run around the promenade track. Think of it as a chance to explore the new space together, enjoy a morning run with fellow runners and be part of the very first community run held at the promenade.

Expect good vibes, familiar faces from the RD crew and a refreshing start to your weekend.

Slots are limited so be sure to RSVP early.

Schedule of Event

Here's what you can expect at our RD x Great Eastern Singapore - community run session.

Activity
9:30am: Baggage Drop + Check-In (Please arrive at least 15min before start of event).
9:45am: Briefing + Quick Introduction 
9:55am: Group Photo
10:00am: Activity Flag Off
10.30am: Hydrate, Cool Down and Stretching
11:00am: End of Event

Directions
Rules & Regulations

  • Only registered runners with a valid RSVP will be allowed to join in the community run sessions. Runners who are not registered will not be allowed to join any part of the run session.
  • We have implemented a self check-in system. Runners with a valid run slot are required to scan the QR code at the event site to check-in.
  • Please do not attend the training session if you are feeling unwell.
  • All runners are to arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the start time
  • All runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration for the run.
  • Baggage deposit will be provided but limited. Runners are advised to travel light if possible.
  • Running Department reserves the right to suspend the account of a runner should they repeated no-show for their run sessions.
