Try the New JBL Open-Ear Series with Running Department
Like running with your music, but still want to hear what’s happening around you?
This Wednesday, 30 September, we’re teaming up with JBL Singapore to give runners the opportunity to experience the all-new JBL Open-Ear Series during an actual Running Department run.
Instead of simply trying them on, you’ll get to put them through the kind of test that matters: out on the run.
What is Open-Ear?
Unlike traditional earbuds that sit inside and block your ear canal, open-ear headphones are designed to let you listen to your music while still being able to hear more of what’s happening around you.
For runners, that means enjoying your playlist while remaining more aware of your surroundings, including fellow runners and the environment around you.
It’s a different way of listening, and this Wednesday, you can experience it for yourself.
Three JBL Open-Ear Models to Try
There will be three models from JBL’s new Open-Ear Series available for runners to experience.
JBL Endurance Pace
Designed for comfortable everyday listening, the JBL Endurance Pace features JBL OpenSound Technology and an open-ear design that lets you enjoy your music without completely blocking your ears.

Try Them on the Run
Date: Wednesday, 30 September 2026
Time: 7.15pm
Trial Units: 50 pairs across all three models
If you’d like to take part in the JBL headphone trial, please register your interest and arrive at least 10 minutes before the run to collect your trial pair and get everything connected before we move off.
The headphones will be paired via Bluetooth to your own mobile phone, so remember to bring your phone along and carry it with you during the run.
Trial units are limited to 50 pairs across all three models and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
While you can indicate which model you’re interested in trying, your selection does not guarantee that model on the day. If your preferred model has been fully allocated, the JBL team will recommend another available model for you to experience.
So if you have your eye on a particular pair, come early!
